You only have seconds to make a meaningful first impression in-person or on the phone. How much time do you have in the virtual world to make your introduction?
Your Personal Brand is your key to standing out.
Personal brand statements are something easily communicated in-person, but unless you can get everyone in the room with you to “woo” them, you need your online presence to speak for you.
Even before you meet in person, chances are everyone you come into contact with has already googled you.
Your personal branding is out there for all to see… The good, the bad and the downright embarrassing…
How can you make your online personal brand persuade and influence?
This is where your Anthem comes into play.
You may have heard them called personal brand statements, but we like to call them Anthems. In only two or three words, your Anthem describes how you are different, and what you do best. It’s simple to remember, easy to communicate, and instantly illustrates how you add distinct value.
Think of it as a “tagline” for your personality. Your Anthem is your personal brand statement.
Once you have your Anthem, download our FREE handy eBook with eight suggestions on how to apply your personal branding and increase your online presence in ways that leverage who you naturally are at your best.
If your personal brand fails to fascinate, you fail.
If you haven’t created your Anthem yet, don’t worry. We’re here to help. With the Ultimate Personal Brand Playbook, Sally leads you through the process, step-by-step. You can enroll here.

I liked the ebook on anthem.
Some I practice already. Interesting concepts which create the personal brand.
I like the article and believe it is valuable. One thing I do not do and do not enjoy when others do is over do the “call for action” it is the value of the info that makes us want to share not the push on every sentence to Tweet about it. Maybe it is just me but that was the reason I did not tweet about it.
Looking forward to reading your book and applying more of the principals! I personally enjoy the “tweet this” feature, it makes it simple to share quotes and articles quickly and easily, and acts as a bookmark for me when I want to return to the article!
Thanks for this refresher! I’m a huge fan of personality branding. Would love to collaborate with you guys on it 🙂
Great article Sally, personal branding should be applied anywhere visible.
Like your info….sometimes get hung up on the word ‘fascinate’ [think there is a better word], but I understand it. I have had a ‘tag line’ (I like to call it my ‘life purpose statement’ or ‘personal motivational statement’-my PMS for short, I know that can have many other implications, ha,ha!!) for almost my entire engineering carrer-refined many times-until now I feel comfortable with it.
My latest tag line: Bringing Structure(s) to life with detailed, innovative, & forward-thinking solutions!
I have found your book (& course of study) to be the most extensive & comprehensive of the books I have had in my library since my So. year in HS (late 70’s), but still not entirely complete in helping people meet thier fullest potential-as other components of the human dynamic need to also be full understood and implemented! Keep up the good work, David DeValve, PE.
Very insightful! What a great idea to have a personal life statement or tag line!
