I had a similar situation to what Annie experienced. While numerous people were interrupting the meeting to make their point, I stood up and walked to the middle of the group and remained standing. Everything got very quiet as the attendees wondered what was going on. I proceeded to state that only 3 of the 6 attendees were necessary to the meeting topic and asked 3 members to excuse themselves. 3 left the meeting and I had the floor until I completed the information I needed to present. Since that meeting, I have not been interrupted! Use your fascinating influence!
