Before: Astute. Discriminating. In the know. After: Insightful. Distinguished. In The know. Not sure those words are me.
I'm with Sandra above about going from the Bull's Eye to the Archer. "Under the radar" was much more "fascinating" than "On-target", "Reasoned", or "Pragmatic". Those three together sound kind of boring and predictable.
You know what's fascinating? The vast and meaningful differences between synonyms. The English nerd in me is loving this discussion. Our reactions illustrate the fine nuances that exist between two words so close in definition. I'm attached to the word Rebellion, which is (was) my secondary trigger. Maybe that's because my Primary trigger is Prestige. I've always been praised for having high standards. However, praise does not always translate to change. Re-examining the quality of a service or a system often leads to ruffled feathers, and I used to dread the backlash that came with suggesting new ideas. It wasn't until I took this test that I began to acknowledge Rebellion as an important and necessary act. Rebellion fuels Prestige with agency, and of course, Prestige is one great reason to rebel: to define a better path, you must challenge the status quo. Kind of like what you're doing with your own system, as you shake things up in an effort to refine and grow. Initially, Innovation sounded bland to me. It felt less active and more cerebral - the black turtleneck to Rebellion's badass leather jacket. Then I remembered that a person is oftentimes called a Rebel before they are given the title of Innovator; Just take look at our most legendary political and creative heroes. A previous commenter said they'd outgrown their Archetype, and asked if it was possible to evolve from one trigger to another. I wonder if there is actually evolution within triggers. Perhaps Rebellion will resonate with someone just starting to break through, while others will feel like Innovators from the get-go (I see comments from both parties).
"So what, I'm still a Rockstar..." I don't have any strong feelings about the change from Rebellion to Innovation. Everything else for me is the same.
Ugh...went from "The Craftsman" (Alarm & Rebellion) to "The Quick-Start" (alert & Innovation). Sounds like the name of a race horse, with very boring triggers.
I am still the same as before. Mystique and PAssion= the Intrigue Discerning, perceptive, considerate, hey... I like it! I am wonderful!
Going from "Rebellion" to "Innovation" is taking a personality test that had "personality" into the bland wishy-washy corporate realm. It probably targets those who think every sign of strength needs to be a "positive" and makes it easier to lie to yourself when you look in the mirror & can't accept yourself for who you really are. A step towards wider acceptability but a step away from truth.
I was the Bullseye -Precise-Sharp-Under-the-Radar. This was a bullseye description. Now I'm The Archer, which sounds much flakier than before. Plus mystique and alert do not always result in reasoned and pragmatic. Sorry, Sally, you missed the target the second time around. I'm neutral on the alarm to alert change. Thanks for the interesting reading, as always!
I think this is a cool tool(I work with behavioral assessments as a coach). Unfortunately, my secondary trigger is slightly off, and the group that did this with me had some not even in the ballpark. Will enjoy seeing how this tool advances as more validation takes place. In the meantime, nice to know info but then what?
I am The Subtle Touch. I also liked profound and discerning more than tactful and mindful. The new words do not resonate with me with the same intensity the old words did. Disappointed
