Passion personalities rapidly make emotional connections with others, especially customers and co-workers. They are approachable, and, even in positions of authority, are known for an unintimidating style. Their exuberance and honesty of emotion make them effective presenters of ideas and information.

There are seven different ways to communicate.
Passion personalities speak the language of RELATIONSHIP.
They’re quick to build rapport.
Their expressive style keeps people focused and engaged.
They develop experiences to engage all five senses.
When they’re on top of their game, they are often described as:
- Engaging
- Expressive
- Intuitive
Since they make immediate connections, they’re often the life of the party.
Their support of a person, team, or organization is contagious. When they really want to turn it up they can be irresistible. Their enthusiasm builds energetic participation.
They know they need to get things moving to create immediate connections.
Who communicates with Passion? A few examples:
- The co-worker who walks over to your office to talk in person, rather than emailing you from their cubicle down the hall.
- The presenter who lights up the room with dramatic gestures.
- The receptionist who gives you warm eye contact and empathizes with your complaint.
A few fascinating facts about Passion in the workplace:
- There is a strong correlation between Passion and industry. People in creative fields, like marketing and advertising score extremely high in Passion.
- Employees in information technology, engineering and finance tend to score lower in Passion.
- Female CEOs are three times more likely to lead with Passion than their male counterparts.
If you use Passion, you don’t have to CHANGE who you are in order to grow your business or enrich your life. In fact, quite the opposite. You have to become MORE of who you already are.

Powerful affirming stuff. I’ve taken many “type tests” but Sally’s is by far the best. Results confirm what the Universe and my inner awareness and also what my trusted other reveal to me. Onward with bring me forward.
I too am The Catalyst! my Dormant Mystique.. And if you ask my Husband he will tell you that is so very true:) I AM full of PASSION and I love creating that sense for everyone around me. What I have challenged myself this year as the 2020 President of Women's Council of Realtors Salt Lake Network is Public Speaking. I do want to understand why I am so dynamic in a small group and a social butterfly but to try and Speak to 10 or more people or even give awards to children that I use to coach, I cry or my mouth goes dry and I even tremble a bit. WHY am I SO AFRAID of public speaking when I have so many good things to say and share? I had our new 2020 board take the fascination advantage test and asked them all to have the How The World Sees You book read by our Business Planning meeting Dec 12th. I want to incorporate each month a bit of the book in each one of our public meetings and build up to month 12 and have a 3 hour Fascination Guru Cheryle Knowlton who loves Sally come teach our last class and encompass everything we experienced in 2020 putting these practices into action. I was a bit sad reading the gentleman's comment above how no one has seen his advantage and he thinks its another "money suck"
If only people could realize.. you get out of it what you put in, and sometimes it takes time and more "putting in then getting out" to see results. If he doesn't believe it or feel it how is anyone around him supposed to? This is what I want to make sure I emphasize to our board.
thanks - love and appreciate the time and creativity and PASSION that you put into your posts - I am imagining that PASSION is one of your fascinations too???
Yes, Susan! Sally is The Catalyst (Passion-Innovation)!
Sounds so great, but after trying to use my advantages and I have 5 of them nearly the same percentage nothing changed and no one cares. It was more like me being motivated and full of energy and got depressed by the world around me.
Ended at the moment with same feeling all these motivation things do. Feels like a great idea which changes nothing at all. If you go for the job the only accepted way is that HR decides you are good or what your advantages are. If you try to use others or work on it you get problems because you cannot do that as you are not defined to be able to do that.
If you then say „look Sally tested me and said“ it is declared as „yet another voodoo to make money with no real substancial background. Only the typical I make you great just pay me money“.
Sounds bad now and might get deleted now, but that is my reality.
Michael
P.s. I still think your results fit me perfectly. I just see no way to live it and even more use it as some kind of official prove that I am really that great...
It's tricky when someone else sees these traits as weakness. I love owning it, and claiming passion as a strength!
Thanks for this in my inbox. I remember doing a talk for an audience- students in a medical program and faculty/staff. It was a scientific talk but geared more to the students and to some basic concepts. I cried when someone (clearly a stuffy instructor) gave me this feedback: Your conversational tone was clearly meant to appeal to the younger members of the audience. As well as some other mean comments.
Screw you stuffy dude, I'm delivering with Passion! I feel so vindicated 🙂 after reading my profile.
It's always a good day to get your content in my inbox. Needed this reminder today.
Thank you! Loved this reminder ❤️
Every time I read these posts about me, I'm always so empowered. You are telling me something that I know but didn't really own. Now that I too fascinate, I really am wanting to own who I am and how I lead and I feel more free to do so!
Love it!
