Ever had a game-changing idea…
…but nobody saw the potential?
Did your idea ever actually come to life? Or did it just sit on the shelf, feeling sad and increasingly dusty?
Did your clients applaud it? Did your customers remember it?
Having a game-changing idea means nothing, if you can’t “sell” it.
It’s not enough to build the best product, if nobody buys it.
It’s not enough to be the best advisor, if nobody listens.
It’s easy to create ideas.
But selling ideas? That’s hard.
But you CAN stand out. You CAN be remembered for your game-changing ideas. Here’s how.
I collected my favorite strategies for presenting ideas, for you to apply and share.
I want you to be recognized, and rewarded, for what you’re already doing right.
Now go sell your biggest, baddest, bestest ideas!

Just a question: do you focus on your type or your audience? If audience, how do you know what type they are? Thanks!

Sally - what to do when your archetype tactics seem to cancel each other out?
I'm an Innovation + Mystique + your advice (my paraphrase) is to go big on the first / Innovation and hold back on the second / Mystique.
Would appreciate for you to elaborate on this - thanks!
I fall into this same archetype, Nathan and this technique nailed me to a "T". You go big on the first idea to boldly and publicly demonstrate your ability to produce awesome ideas -- but then you hold back on fully revealing the second idea in order to build suspense and curiosity in your prospect's mind about what it could be. To quote another favorite author of mine "You get your prospect to lean forward with interest... and then you grab 'em by the throat!" (Jeffrey Gitomer).
Thanks Sally - love this. I'm a passionate person and this has reiterated not to start a conversation with numbers. Thanks for the reminder to stay true to me and what I do.
BEST email from you - THANK YOU, Sally! I was struggling so much to unbland my words. I took a break and found your email and eBook and it gave me courage with my 'about' language here https://screamingcontest.com/about/ to show my Innovation (Do you by any chance do portfolio feedback?...)
I really like "unbland" -- very vivid. 🙂
The link to download does not appear to be working....
Hello Jeff,
Sorry about the link, I've checked it over and it seems to be fine. It may be an internet browser problem or some technical hiccup.
Try this link, it is a direct download so once you click on it, it will start downloading the PDF straight to your computer / device: http://bit.ly/2lfF2xz

Sally, another game-changer idea in itself. Thx.

Great post! Being mystique and using the written word, I think I need to combine with some passion otherwise I may leave my readers disengaged? Or maybe I'm overthinking it
